Birthday celebrations often reflect a child’s biggest interests, and Khloé Kardashian created a memorable experience for her son Tatum by turning her home into a setting inspired by Disney’s "Zootopia."
The carefully planned event featured themed decorations, interactive activities, and personalized details. The celebration also honored another important family member, making the occasion meaningful for everyone involved.
Khloé Kardashian and her former partner Tristan Thompson celebrated their son Tatum’s fourth birthday with a large "Zootopia"-themed party that completely changed the look of her home. Photos and videos shared on Instagram Stories on July 28 showed custom signs welcoming guests to “Tatumtopia,” featuring familiar characters from the animated movie.
The event was designed with children in mind. Every section reflected the movie’s playful atmosphere while adding personalized touches centered on Tatum. The themed entrance immediately introduced guests to the birthday celebration and set the mood for the day.
Inside the party, Tatum met life-size mascots based on characters from "Zootopia." He happily hugged the characters and smiled for photos, creating some of the celebration’s most memorable moments.
Interactive Activities Filled the Celebration
Khloé, who is also mother to 8-year-old True with Tristan Thompson, shared a closer look at the party layout. A walkthrough of the decorated home, which also included an appearance by Kris Jenner, revealed several activity stations created especially for young guests.
Children enjoyed a bunny petting zoo, a stuffed-animal workshop, and a squishy-making station. Another area allowed guests to choose animal-themed ears to wear during the event. The food and dessert station continued the “Tatumtopia” theme with decorations inspired by "Zootopia," creating a consistent experience throughout the celebration.

The gathering also marked the 20th birthday of Amari Thompson, Khloé Kardashian’s brother-in-law. Amari lives with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, and Khloé serves as one of his caregivers. Both Tatum and Amari received their own five-foot-tall birthday cakes decorated with "Zootopia" designs.
While showing the celebration, Khloé explained that she would do “anything for a 4-year-old and a 20-year-old, my Amari and Tatum.” The shared birthday celebration highlighted the close bond within the family while ensuring each birthday honoree received individual attention.
A Heartfelt Tribute to Amari
One day before the party, on July 27, Khloé honored Amari with a heartfelt birthday message on Instagram.
“Some people change the world with their words. You change it simply by being you,” she wrote. “Your heart, your spirit, and your light say everything that words never could.”
She continued, “You are one of God’s gentlest reminders of what truly matters. Everyone who knows you is better because of you. Thank you for reminding us every single day how we should be so completely grateful for the smallest of things and what unconditional love, joy, grace, resilience, and gratitude truly look like.”
The birthday event combined imaginative entertainment with meaningful family moments. From the personalized “Tatumtopia” setting and "Zootopia" activities to the shared celebration for Amari Thompson, the occasion reflected both fun and togetherness.
Alongside the themed attractions, Khloé Kardashian’s tribute to Amari added an emotional element that made the celebration memorable beyond the birthday festivities.
